Digital Product of the Year Award Goes to Microgaming

The first ever Global Gaming Awards was held this year on Monday September 29th in Las Vegas and Microgaming was named as the winner of the Digital Products of the Year award. This is one of several industry awards that Microgaming has managed to win since its product first appeared online back in 1994.

Some of the biggest names in the online and offline gambling industry attended this event and they were brought together to celebrate excellence within the industry. Companies were nominated based on their achievements over the past twelve months while a panel of 50 leading figures in the industry voted for their winners in various categories.

“It's an honour to take home the award for Digital Product of the Year. What makes the award so special is that it was voted for by a panel of judges which comprised some of the biggest names in the gaming industry. We've been recognised by our peers,” said Microgaming’s CEO, Roger Raatgever.

Microgaming had to fight off a total of nine other nominees such as Runner’s-Up Net Entertainment, as well as Amaya Gaming, Greentube, BetConstruct, Akamon Entertainment, Continent 8 Technologies, JT Global and Optimal Payments, all of whom had been shortlisted for the same award.
